Press Release

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) released the following statement on Net Neutrality Day:

“From reversing protections that strengthen safeguards for consumers to the administration’s recent push to do away with net neutrality, Republicans and President Trump continue to advocate for reckless and misguided policies that will hurt entrepreneurs online.  Undoing net neutrality will hurt our economy and will make it harder for startups and Americans to conduct their business, stifling innovation and growth. Access to free and open internet service providers is especially important for Nevadans living in rural communities. Any action to eliminate protections for broadband users puts consumers at risk and would likely force millions to pay more for slower internet. I urge the FCC to maintain net neutrality.”
