REP. ROSEN REMINDS CONSTITUENTS TO SIGN UP FOR HEALTH CARE BEFORE TOMORROW'S DEADLINE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) released the following statement reminding Nevadans to get covered through the Nevada Health Link. Tomorrow, December 15th, marks the end of open enrollment season, which helps Nevadans choose and enroll in health coverage plans best fitting their budgetary and health circumstances:
“Tomorrow is the last day for Nevadans to sign up for health care,” said Rosen. “For anyone looking to enroll, I encourage you to sign up for a plan by visiting Nevada Health Link online before the deadline. I will continue to call on Congress to take action to stabilize our health insurance markets, which are under relentless attack by this administration and Republicans in Congress. We need smart, viable solutions that will lower health care costs, improve quality of care, and expand coverage for Nevada’s hardworking families.”

Congresswoman Rosen is a co-sponsor of H.R. 3258, the Marketplace Certainty Act, a bill that would immediately address market instability by controlling costs and keeping insurers from exiting the Silver State Exchange. The bill funds cost-sharing reductions provided by the Affordable Care Act, which would help drive down premiums costs to make insurance plans more affordable for consumers.
